These playing cards have each number written out on the card as a visual to help learn Hawaiian numbers 1-10.
The suits are custom, Hawaiʻi-focused suits. Instead of your usual hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs, there are lehua (flower), ahi (fish), ʻiʻiwi (bird), and leiomanō (Hawaiian weapon).
The keaka (jack), kuini (queen) and kini (king) cards are represented by Kauikeaouli, Liliʻuokalani and King Kamehameha 1.
Each deck will include a "How-to" for playing "Go-fish" in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi so you can also practice your ʻōlelo. This focuses on the possessive sentence structure, asking if someone has something.
Itʻs still a full deck of playing cards so you can play any of the card games you already love to play with your ʻohana.
